Job description
Stanford University’s Department of Art & Art History invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Film and Media Studies, specializing in African or Afro-diasporic film and media.
We seek a Ph.D. holder who will teach undergraduate and graduate seminars, develop courses across history, theory, and production contexts, and contribute to a dynamic interdisciplinary program. Appointment begins Fall 2027 with a salary range of $115,133–$135,388.
