Job description
Tuskegee University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of History to begin January 1, 2026. The position focuses on Africana, African American, U.S. or African history, with encouragement for public history and historic preservation coursework.
Responsibilities include teaching four history classes per semester (12 credit hours), conducting scholarly research, advising students, and participating in departmental service. A Ph.D. in History is required.
