Job description
University of Virginia’s Department of Politics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Comparative Politics. The appointment begins August 10, 2027, with a focus on development, state capacity, and regime stability, including expertise on China or other priority regions.
The successful candidate will teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels, typically two courses per semester, join a vibrant, ~30 tenure-track faculty community, and contribute to a PhD program.
