Job description
Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Art History starting July 1, 2027. We seek a pre-modern Islamic Art historian, focusing on periods before 1800, with openness to any subfield or region; South/Central/West Asian specialties receive special consideration.
The successful candidate will teach on campus with a 2/2 load, advise students, pursue an active research program, and participate in faculty governance.
