Job description
The Department of Mathematics at Penn State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Pure Mathematics at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with a preference for Number Theory. Starting Summer or Fall 2027. Duties include research, teaching, and supervision of student research at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics, demonstrate capacity for an independent research program, and show excellence in teaching and service.
