Job description
Stanford University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Film and Media Studies. The successful candidate will study African or Afro-diasporic film/media cultures, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to a dynamic, interdisciplinary program in Art History and Film/Media studies.
Ph.D. required by time of appointment; strong training in film history/theory, and the ability to develop introductory and topical courses are essential.
