Job description
Brown University's Department of American Studies invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor with a focus on Black and/or Latinx expressive culture, spanning literature, visual/material culture, and performing arts in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The successful candidate will develop introductory courses for American Studies and Ethnic Studies undergraduates, maintain an active research program, publish influential work, and participate in mentoring and service.
