Job description
Providence College seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Theatre to begin on August 1, 2027. A PhD in Theatre or related field is required, ABD considered if completion occurs by start date. The candidate will teach a 3/3 load including Theatre Appreciation, Script Analysis, History of Theatre and more.
Active engagement in creative or scholarly work, a commitment to teaching excellence, and service to the college and discipline are essential, with emphasis on inclusive pedagogy and DEI.
