Job description

Electronics Production AssociateIt's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.An Electronics Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies including but not limited to solder, machine operation, and final assembly. Production Associates must be able to follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision. This role reports to Production Supervisor. Hours of work: afternoon shift.Responsibilities:Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.Uses hand tools, power tools machines or other equipment to perform work.May perform assembly operations under microscope or another magnifying device.Inspects own work to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.Conducts quality checks periodically.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness by meeting all productivity and quality objectives.Communicates with team and support staff to ensure continuous production at high-quality levels.Skills and Abilities Required:Advanced soldering and repair/rework skillsAbility to use solder extractor toolsBasic computer skills - accurate with data entryGood math skills with the ability to count and measureAccurate visual acuity for color and depth perceptionVision sufficient to accurately measure in a fraction of an inchManual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering ironRead and understand moderately complex assembly instructionsComprehend written and verbal assignmentsAbility to work as a team member in a diverse work environmentRequired Qualifications:Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GEDPhysical Activity Requirements:Work Environment: Production environment where the noise level is generally moderately noisyWork Position: Primarily sittingBody Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlWeight Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbsSensory Requirements: Vision, speech, hearing, smell, and touch are routinely used in day to day functionsIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
