Job description
Title: Territory Sales Manager, Corrugated Packaging
Company Overview
Our client is a respected manufacturer of corrugated packaging and point-of-purchase display solutions, partnering with customers to develop tailored packaging programs that support product protection, branding, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth by strengthening relationships with existing customers and securing new business within the designated region.
Assess customer packaging requirements and provide customized solutions that enhance productivity, optimize packaging performance, and deliver cost savings.
Develop and execute prospecting strategies to identify and convert new accounts through networking, referrals, and market outreach.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating with operations, design and customer service teams to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
Manage territory activity, maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline, conduct routine client meetings, and provide sales forecasts and account plans.
Stay informed on industry trends, customer developments, and competitor activities to uncover additional revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
3+ years of field sales experience within the corrugated packaging industry.
Strong knowledge of corrugated manufacturing, packaging design principles, converting processes, and end-user packaging applications.
Demonstrated success in territory expansion, account penetration, and new customer acquisition.
Effective solution-selling and relationship-building skills with the ability to understand customer challenges and deliver value-driven recommendations.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, up to 50%.
