Location:
Within Texas territory: TX, OK, AR, LA.
Compensation:
$100,000 base + $110,000 target bonus. $210,000 OTE. Uncapped.
Travel:
50%
About the company
Our client is a privately held, profitable industrial manufacturer. They engineer exhaust, acoustic, and custom fabricated systems for engine OEMs, enclosure manufacturers, marine, power generation, and industrial markets. They are growing fast and adding capacity.
About the role
This is a technical sales role. You sell engineered products to engineers. You open new accounts and grow existing ones across the Texas territory (TX, OK, AR, LA).
You report to the Sales Manager and work closely with engineering, inside sales, and operations.
What you will do
Prospect and win new customers: OEMs, enclosure manufacturers, marine, and industrial clients.
Grow existing accounts through cross sell and upsell.
Meet customers on site. Understand the application. Propose the right solution.
Build proposals, presentations, and quotes from specs and drawings.
Hand clear requirements to engineering and operations so quotes and builds are right the first time.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Keep Salesforce current and forecast accurately.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related). Required.
3 to 5 years of outside B2B sales of engineered or technical products.
A track record of hitting or beating quota.
You read engineering drawings and technical specs with confidence.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes. Metal fabrication a plus.
Experience with engine exhaust, power generation, or acoustic products is a strong plus.
Salesforce or similar CRM.
Valid driver's license. Comfortable with overnight travel.
Compensation and benefits
$110,000 target bonus, paid quarterly, uncapped. Based on booked revenue, new customers, account growth, quote responsiveness, quote-to-order conversion, and customer satisfaction.
