Apply today!Test and Assembly Technician Responsibilities:Read and interpret process sheets, blueprints, and sketches of parts to determine assembly and testing to be completedIdentify, select and install proper tooling/fixtures for operations being performedIntuitively understand capabilities of tooling and machineryUnderstand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspectionsDocument actions by completing production and quality logs, properly maintain assembly logs to ensure component and heat traceabilityMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairsMaintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsPerform miscellaneous duties as needed due to workload or a critical need in another areaRequirements for Test and Assembly Technician:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in manufacturing/assembly work preferredAbility to read and understand blueprintsPrior experience with precision inspection equipment including, but not limited to micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, profilometers preferredBenefits:401(k)Insurance (health, dental, vision and life)Paid time offReferral programQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
