Job description
Test Engineer PositionLinux, AWS, Cypress, Selenium, VS Code, Java, JavaScript, Mongo DB, PostGres, TestNG, T&E WIPTs and integrated test teams to align T&E activitiesTestNG, Selenium, & Cypress Testing Automation Software, Java and JavaScript, SQL, JSON, Page Object Model (POM), Selector Testing and Visual Testing, TestNG, REST Assured, Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress, Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GIT, Linux, Putty Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.Required:Must be a US CitizenMust have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraphThis position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for.Eight (08) years of experience as a Test Engineer (TE) on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution or (Alternate Qualification) Four (04) additional years of TE experience substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.Experience analyzing system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.Experience supporting the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.Experience working with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW.Desired Qualifications (These Qualifications would be Nice-to-Have)Web automation test tools and frameworks: project uses TestNG, Selenium, & Cypress Testing Automation SoftwareProgramming languages used in test automation: project uses Java and JavaScriptPostgress SQL: project uses knowledge of writing queries in SQLMongo DB: project uses knowledge of writing queries in JSONKnow what Page Object Model (POM) is UI test scripts on both unclass and high side uses this design patterUnderstand both Selector Testing and Visual Testing Experience with API automation tools: project uses TestNG, REST AssuredImplementation of system techniquesDesigning, developing, and implementing test scripts, test plans, test cases, and test processesPerforming User Interface testing against requirementsIdentifying data to be used during testingExperience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)System currently uses automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and CypressSystem currently uses automation tests using Eclipse and JavaExperience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)GIT : Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scriptsLinuxPuttyExperience in testing for accessibility; organizations are now responsible for doing their own testing ; our tools sit at a 4.93 and 5.0 ratingDefining test strategies for future capabilitiesManaging project artifactsDetermining appropriate project methodologies and practices$130,000 - $210,000 a year The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
