Test OperatorDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Test Operators for an electronics manufacturing company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure quality electronic assemblies meet customer and industry standards through detailed inspection and coating touch-up work. If you enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work in a clean manufacturing environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!Inspect boards and panels under a microscope to verify proper coating coveragePerform coating touch-ups under a microscope using various hand toolsUse pliers, cutters, and small hand tools during board assembly processesComplete required production and quality documentation accuratelyEnter basic production data into computer systemsFollow drawings, specifications, and work instructions to maintain quality standardsPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managementHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with small componentsGood vision and finger dexterityAbility to work under a microscope for up to 8 hours per dayAbility to remain seated for up to 8 hours per dayGeneral computer skills and ability to perform basic data entryAbility to read, write, communicate, and comprehend EnglishGeneral knowledge of electronic components preferredAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructionsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsIPC-A-610 training preferred but not requiredSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to cross-train in other positions as neededAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
