Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documentation to evaluate and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Responsibilities include setting up and operating test equipment, identifying and resolving issues, accurately documenting test results, and safely handling materials as they move on and off test platforms. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, the ability to perform effectively under pressure, and a proactive, team?oriented approach in a fast?paced work environment.What You Will DoRead, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment.Maintain inventory of product at assigned workstations.Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and record identified issues accurately.Assemble, rework, and/or repair assemblies and products in accordance with engineering specification changes.Complete all work in alignment with quality standards and established safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Qualifications You Must HaveHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Experience working within a manufacturing environment.U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We PreferExperience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, or light equipment.Self-directed and action-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively to resolve questions and problems.Have previous experience in testing/trouble shooting equipment/product.Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
