Ready to run your own shop? A freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving the greater Houston area is looking for a BC/BE Physiatrist to step in as Medical Director. This is a physician-led facility built around an interdisciplinary care team, treating patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, and complex medical rehabilitation needs.
Medical Director Position: Excellent stipend and fee-for-service billing.
Growth Opportunity: A true leadership role, collaborate on clinical protocols and culture at a hospital backed by a well-established national rehabilitation system.
Reputation for Quality: Joint Commission accredited, with 24/7 rehabilitative nursing and a minimum of 15 hours of therapy per week.
Clinical Variety: Stroke and neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic recovery, chronic illness management, and critical care long-term recovery.
Support Structure: An established interdisciplinary team already in place, so your energy goes toward clinical leadership, not building a program from scratch.
