Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide professional massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other therapeutic techniques based on client needs.Conduct client consultations to assess physical condition, medical history, and specific concerns prior to treatment.Maintain a clean, organized, and serene treatment space in accordance with health and safety standards.Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout each session by explaining procedures, adjusting techniques, and responding to feedback.Keep accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant observations.Recommend appropriate spa products and wellness practices to enhance guests' at-home care.Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry techniques and certifications.Collaborate with other spa team members to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.Valid state massage therapy license or certification required.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical environment preferred, but not required.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesIn-depth knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and physiology.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.Ability to maintain physical stamina to perform multiple treatments per shift.Understanding of contraindications, sanitation, and safety procedures.Flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
