We move fast, expect a lot from each other, and show up every day to do meaningful, impactful work. If you're driven, collaborative, and energized by making a real difference—this is where you belong.

We take care of the people who take care of others. At New Freedom, you'll enjoy: competitive pay and strong benefits package, $0 medical plan option + employer-supported coverage, 401(k) with match, generous paid time off, free meals, snacks, drinks, gym access, a mission that matters—and a team that works hard to deliver on it.

New Freedom is seeking therapists across multiple levels of clinical development, from master's-level clinicians working toward associate licensure to independently licensed behavioral health professionals. Candidates will be considered for Therapist I, Therapist II, or Therapist III based on their education, Arizona licensure, experience, and demonstrated clinical competencies. Across all levels, therapists provide individual and group behavioral health services within an Intensive Outpatient Program setting. Treatment focuses on substance use, trauma, post-incarceration challenges, co-occurring behavioral health needs, recovery, and successful community reentry. Therapists work collaboratively with members, families when appropriate, and multidisciplinary treatment teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed care.

This role is ideal for someone who: is passionate about helping individuals create meaningful and lasting change, enjoys providing both individual and group therapeutic services, values trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered care, thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment environment, brings empathy, accountability, and sound clinical judgment to their work, and is committed to continued professional development and clinical growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Conducting behavioral health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans

Providing individual psychotherapy and facilitating structured clinical and psychoeducational groups

Applying motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-informed interventions

Supporting members in addressing substance use, trauma, co-occurring needs, and reentry-related barriers

Collaborating with members, families, clinicians, Peer Coaches, Re-Entry Specialists, and other care team members

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, generally within 24 hours of service delivery

Meeting established productivity, documentation, compliance, engagement, and quality expectations

What Success Looks Like:

Members are actively engaged in treatment and progressing toward their individualized goals

Assessments and treatment plans accurately reflect member needs, strengths, risks, and recovery priorities

Individual and group services are engaging, clinically appropriate, and aligned with program standards

Clinical documentation is complete, accurate, timely, and compliant

Risks and changes in member functioning are identified and addressed appropriately

Strong collaboration supports continuity of care and successful member outcomes

Clinical responsibilities are performed within the scope of the therapist's education, licensure, and assigned level

Required clinical supervision, continuing education, and professional development expectations are consistently met

What We're Looking For:

A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or another behavioral health-related field

Individuals must be eligible to pursue associate-level licensure in Arizona, or already have their associate or independent licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LAAC, LIAC, LAC, or LPC, etc.)
