Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist provides specialized rehabilitative care to patients, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. This role involves assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans to promote overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical goals.
Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and modalities.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and coping strategies.
Qualifications: Hold a valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Possess proven experience in occupational therapy within a clinical setting.
Demonstrate strong assessment and patient communication skills.
Be proficient in documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Commit to maintaining ongoing professional development and certifications.
