Job description
$ /week -nn Job Summary:n
n Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders, supporting their rehabilitation and functional independence. Ensures delivery of compliant, evidence-based interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Screen and evaluate patients to develop individualized care plans addressing cognitive and ADL impairments.n
n Administer clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions, including ADL retraining, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use.n
n Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments accordingly, and document outcomes comprehensively.n
n Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members regarding treatment strategies and progress.n
n Maintain accurate, complete documentation of all clinical activities, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in electronic health records.n
n Support supervision of occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed, ensuring adherence to all practice standards.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Valid and active OT license in the state of Missouri.n
n Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.n
n Demonstrated proficiency in using standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.n
n Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.n
n Must have recent skills checklist verifying clinical competencies.n
n New graduates considered with Level II experience, not just observational.n
