Job Summary:
Provide pediatric occupational therapy services for patients primarily aged 0-3 years within the Infant Child Development (ICD) program. Focus on assessing and treating delays or deficits in activities of daily living, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive, and psychosocial skills to promote developmental progress.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to identify developmental needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's diagnosis and progress.
Deliver occupational therapy services, including therapy sessions, education, consultation, and caregiver support.
Document clinical findings, treatment progress, and discharge planning in accordance with facility policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and family members to facilitate optimal care outcomes.
Participate in discharge or transition planning to support ongoing development and community integration.
Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Possess at least one year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
Maintain a valid Kansas Occupational Therapy License.
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 90 days of employment.
Demonstrate current CPR/BLS certification from an approved provider.
Possess a valid Kansas Driver's License.
