Job description
$ /week -nn Job Summary:n
n The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supports rehabilitation teams by providing therapeutic interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This position is critical in assisting patients to regain essential skills and improve their quality of life.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist to meet patient goals.n
n Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.n
n Assist in patient evaluations and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.n
n Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and activities.n
n Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or credential.n
n Minimum of a relevant Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting.n
n Proven experience working in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.n
n Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.n
n Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and treatment plans.n
