Job Summary:
Provide therapeutic support to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assisting in developing and implementing treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment protocols.
Implement therapy activities and interventions as directed by the supervising therapist.
Monitor and document patient progress during sessions, reporting any changes or concerns.
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
Comply with facility policies, including credential verification and wearing identification badges.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Demonstrate proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
Possess strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
Ability to adhere to facility policies, including identification badge policies and confidentiality standards.
