Job Summary:
Provides occupational therapy assistant services to patients under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Delivers patient-centered care to support rehabilitation goals and optimize functional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and interventions.
Conduct patient assessments and document progress accurately.
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and techniques.
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety procedures, and documentation standards.
Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure or certification.
Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving patient needs and treatment plans.
