Job description

Job Summary:
Assist occupational therapists in delivering patient-centered rehabilitative care to promote recovery and improve functional outcomes. Provide direct support in implementing therapy plans and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Support occupational therapists by preparing treatment areas and assisting during therapy sessions.
Implement individualized therapeutic activities to meet specific patient goals.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with healthcare standards.
Educate patients and families on therapy routines and home exercise programs.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Texas or compact State Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a COTA.
Demonstrate strong clinical skills in occupational therapy support.
Exhibit excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
Maintain current CPR and BLS certifications.
