Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient-centered rehabilitative care in a skilled nursing facility. The COTA will support licensed Occupational Therapists in enhancing residents’ functional independence through personalized interventions.
Responsibilities:
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
Communicate effectively with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Complete comprehensive documentation in Net Health according to facility standards.
Assist with patient assessments and progress tracking.
Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active OTA License required.
Previous SNF experience preferred; mentorship available for those with 0-1 year experience.
Demonstrate strong documentation and time-management skills.
Possess flexible and collaborative work ethic.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
