Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide acute care services across various medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and critical care settings. The role involves working five 8-hour days with every 4th weekend off, with travel acceptance within a 25-mile radius.
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions for patients in acute care and rehab settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document patient progress, modify treatment strategies as needed, and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines.
Meet all licensing, vaccination, fingerprinting, and lab requirements within specified timeframes.
Provide care during holidays as mandated by the facility's coverage needs.
Complete all required administrative and clinical documentation accurately and timely.
Qualifications: Must have a Minnesota license as a CNA or proof of license application for RN/LPN.
Possess at least 1 year of acute care experience, including neuro, cardiac, or orthopedic care.
Hold current BLS certification.
Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Be willing to work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation.
Candidates residing within 25 miles of the facility are not eligible unless they meet travel criteria.
