$ /week -nn Job Summary:n

n Assist in providing occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting, supporting recovery and functional independence. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver individualized treatments and improve patient outcomes.n

nn Responsibilities:n

n n Implement prescribed occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of the occupational therapist.n

n Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.n

n Document patient care activities and progress in Meditech EMR system.n

n Educate patients and family members on therapeutic exercises and adaptive strategies.n

n Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, including general acute care DME equipment.n

n Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.n

nn Qualifications:n

n n Minimum 6 months of recent acute care hospital OT experience.n

n Active Kansas occupational therapy assistant licensure.n

n Current BLS certification.n

n Ability to work independently with high accountability and good communication skills.n

n Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic environment of acute care.n

n Preferably experienced in trauma and comprehensive stroke care.n
