Therapist, Occupational Therapy - Therapist, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical and psychological assessments.
Assess home and work environments.
Advise on adaptive equipment.
Develop physical rehabilitation programs.
Prepare clients for return to work.
Educate caregivers and family members.
Evaluate therapy effectiveness.
Maintain professional knowledge.
Comply with regulations.
Certifications/Requirements
Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) credential from NBCOT required.
Masters or Doctoral degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program.
State licensure required (OTR/L).
CPR/BLS certification.
Experience
Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) from ACOTE-accredited program .
Level II Fieldwork (6 months minimum ).
Pass NBCOT exam.
