Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support patient rehabilitation programs. The role involves implementing treatment plans and assisting licensed therapists in providing quality care.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing patient treatment plans.
Prepare treatment areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready.
Educate patients on exercises and therapeutic activities to promote recovery.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapists.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and sessions.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including identification and badge policies.
Qualifications:
Certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant with valid licensure or registration.
Proven experience in healthcare or rehabilitation settings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.
Capacity to follow treatment plans and adapt to patient needs.
