Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant will support patient rehabilitation by assisting with therapy plans and providing hands-on care under supervision. This role requires adherence to licensing and credentialing standards to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring proper use of equipment.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Adhere to all licensing, credentialing, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
Possess an active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Demonstrate experience in clinical physical therapy settings.
Have strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Be able to adhere to facility and equipment protocols.
