Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will support and implement individualized therapy programs designed by licensed physical therapists to enhance patient recovery and well-being. This role involves working with diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient settings to promote functional improvement.
Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering therapist-developed treatment plans to facilitate patient recovery.
Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to supervising therapists.
Support patient education on post-treatment care, injury prevention, and activity modifications.
Maintain clean, organized treatment areas in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
Hold a current license to practice Physical Therapy in Montana.
Complete an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Demonstrate empathetic communication and sound judgment skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
Exhibit a professional, amiable personality with a desire to support patient-centered recovery.
