Job description
$ /week – Job Summary:Provides rehabilitative and medically necessary physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Focuses on enhancing patients’ physical functioning through evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans.Responsibilities:Implement and support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices for patients with physical disorders.Administer procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation assistance, and use of supportive devices.Assess patient progress regularly and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed.Document all activities, interventions, and patient progress accurately in electronic health records in compliance with regulatory standards.Collaborate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment outcomes and discharge planning.Support supervision of students under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist and participate in meetings and training sessions.Qualifications:Valid State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required.Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.Demonstrated ability to provide skilled rehabilitative services under supervision.Strong communication and documentation skills.Ability to adhere to ethical standards and practice acts established by APTA and state regulations.Benefits & Growth:Opportunity to work in a reputable facility committed to professional development and ongoing training.Enhance clinical skills through collaborative team environment and diverse patient cases.Benefits Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral Program Why TactStaff?
