Job description
Call for Salary Rate -
Job Summary:
Providing skilled physical therapy support to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role involves implementing and adjusting treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
Support and execute rehabilitative interventions based on evidence-based practices.
Administer procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device use.
Monitor and document patient progress, communicating updates to supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation including treatment minutes, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Possess a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience; new graduates with Level II experience accepted.
Demonstrate prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
Strong understanding of clinical interventions and documentation standards.
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow supervision guidelines.
Comply with APTA standards and state practice acts.
