Job Summary:
Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients, supporting their recovery and mobility goals. Deliver quality care in a dynamic clinical setting, adhering to safety standards and facility protocols.
Responsibilities:
Support physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Monitor patients' progress and report updates to the supervising therapist.
Assist with patient positioning, exercises, and modalities as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.
Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
Follow facility policies, including identification badge protocols and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Hold an active Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
Demonstrate recent experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to lift, move, and assist patients with mobility needs.
Maintain compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Exhibit flexibility to work scheduled weekdays, with reliable attendance.
