Job description
$ /week – Job Summary:The Physical Therapist Assistant provides skilled rehabilitative services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to patients with physical functioning disorders. They support clinical interventions aimed at restoring mobility and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.Responsibilities:Support the implementation of evidence-based clinical interventions for patients with physical impairments.Administer various treatment procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist for treatment adjustments.Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and management of physical disorders.Document all clinical activities, patient responses, and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records.Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and ongoing training to enhance clinical skills and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Qualifications:Hold an active State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Possess at least 1 year of experience as a PTA, preferably in LTC or rehab settings.Demonstrate proficiency with clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.Ability to work collaboratively with supervising therapists and health team members.Show strong communication skills to effectively coordinate patient care and progress reporting.Ability to supervise and support student therapists under guidance of a Physical Therapist.Benefits & Growth:Access to ongoing training, in-services, and professional development opportunities.Opportunity to work within a team that emphasizes productivity and quality patient care.Benefits Day 1 Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceTravel reimbursement for assignmentsPaid sick leave and additional valuable benefitsAccess to our $1,000 Inspire a Friend Referral Program Why TactStaff?
