Job description

Job Summary:
Provide rehabilitative and skilled physical therapy interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Ensure clinical interventions adhere to regulatory standards and facilitate patient recovery and progress.
Responsibilities:
Support clinical interventions utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Administer skilled treatments including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.
Assess patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans.
Document all clinical activities, patient responses, and treatment minutes accurately in electronic records.
Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and training sessions to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
Hold an active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Possess a minimum of 1 year of PTA experience; new grads with Level II experience eligible.
Demonstrate experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
Strong understanding of clinical procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and healthcare team members.
