Job description
$ /week -nn Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a pediatric hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and compliance with clinical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Administer respiratory treatments and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.n
n Assess patients’ respiratory status and adjust therapies as needed to promote recovery.n
n Monitor patient response to treatments and document findings accurately in clinical records.n
n Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update care plans.n
n Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment to ensure safety and efficacy.n
n Comply with all hospital policies, infection control standards, and travel policies during shifts.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) license and certification (RRT) required.n
n Minimum of 4 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience, including NICU and PICU settings.n
n BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required.n
n Ability to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.n
n Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric respiratory care, including cardiac PICU procedures preferred.n
n Must hold or be eligible for state licensure in another state with temporary licensure options.n
