Job description
$ /week -nn Job Summary:n
n Provides specialized respiratory therapy care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and stability. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, procedures, and ventilator management following physician orders.n
n Assess patient conditions and respond to changes by adjusting therapy plans accordingly.n
n Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health records, preferably Epic.n
n Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify patient care plans.n
n Educate patients and families on respiratory care, therapies, and equipment use.n
n Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Valid Ohio or multi-state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist at the time of submission.n
n Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in NICU or PICU settings.n
n Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.n
n Demonstrated ability to perform complex respiratory procedures and patient assessments.n
n Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Epic EMR system.n
n Able to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including every other Sunday, with flexibility for additional weekends and holidays.n
