Job description
Respiratory Therapist Position
Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist with at least two years of experience to provide vital respiratory care services in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will hold active licensure and certifications, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatments as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Participate in ongoing training modules and certifications to stay current with industry standards.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid Ohio RRT license in good standing.
Possess active NBRC certification and BLS certification.
Minimum of two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical setting.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of respiratory procedures and equipment.
Provide two recent references from managerial or supervisory roles within the past 12 months.
Comply with all background and drug screening requirements, including nicotine-free policy.
