Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care for adult patients across diverse clinical settings. This role involves working in ER, ICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Psychiatry units, often requiring flexibility to float within departments.
Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, therapies, and interventions for adult patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
Operate and maintain advanced respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
Respond to emergency situations promptly, providing critical respiratory support as needed.
Document patient care activities accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system.
Float to various units, including ICU and ED, to meet staffing needs and ensure continuous patient care.
Qualifications: Hold an active RRT credential through NBRC or equivalent certification.
Possess 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EHR system and travel experience.
Be BLS certified; NRP certification highly preferred.
Hold valid RRT license and ST or CT credentials; NRP is highly desirable.
Capable of working 12-hour shifts with holiday and call requirements.
