Job description
n Job Summary:n
n Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in a specialized ICU setting. This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory treatments and supporting patient stabilization and transport.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Administer and monitor respiratory therapies including ventilator management, airway management, and airway procedures.n
n Operate and troubleshoot ventilators such as Hamilton, Servo, and other high-flow respiratory equipment.n
n Assist with intubations and provide bedside support in emergency situations.n
n Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABGs and EKGs when required.n
n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.n
n Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Hold an RT license with a minimum of 2 years experience in PICU and/or Level 4 NICU.n
n Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.n
n Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care procedures.n
n Be knowledgeable in operating ventilators like Hamilton, Servo, Respironics, and Fisher Paykel.n
n Exhibit strong airway management and intrahospital transport skills.n
n Able to assist with intubations and other invasive procedures as needed.n
