Job description
$ /week -nn Job Summary:n
n Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients, managing ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP, oxygen therapy, and blood gas analysis in a fast-paced clinical environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety during shifts.n
nn Responsibilities:n
n n Administer respiratory treatments and medications following physician directives.n
n Monitor and operate ventilators, BIPAP/CPAP devices, and blood gas machines.n
n Assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.n
n Document patient care outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.n
n Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to develop and implement care plans.n
n Respond promptly to emergency respiratory needs and provide emergent interventions.n
nn Qualifications:n
n n Hold current Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and VA State license.n
n Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.n
n Demonstrate at least 2 years of ICU or acute care respiratory therapy experience.n
n Proven ability to manage mechanical ventilators and blood gas analysis.n
n Adapt to a fast-paced environment and display excellent clinical judgment.n
n Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.n
