Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, assisting with diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory conditions. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures according to physicians' orders.
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status, adjusting therapy as needed.
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and proper function.
Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in medical records.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, medications, and management techniques.
Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapy license or credentials in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical respiratory setting.
Ability to operate respiratory equipment and perform airway management.
Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of respiratory protocols.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
