Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a diverse healthcare setting, focusing on emergent and intensive respiratory therapies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care across day and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy modalities, including emergent and intensive care procedures.
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments to optimize outcomes.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
Educate patients and family members on respiratory health and care plans.
Document all interventions accurately in patient records.
Collaborate with physicians and team members to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications: Hold an Associate's degree or equivalent in respiratory care.
Possess at least two years of experience in respiratory therapy at a general or acute care hospital.
Maintain current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
Have and sustain valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP from the American Heart Association.
Hold a current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
