Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech therapy services to patients, assisting in the assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to determine therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and progress.
Document patient progress and modify therapy plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and strategies.
Maintain compliance with clinical standards and facility protocols.
Qualifications: Valid Speech Language Pathologist license or certification.
Proven experience in speech therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong assessment and clinical documentation skills.
Ability to work part-time hours regularly (25-30 hours/week).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
