Job Summary:
Provide speech-language pathology services to patients, assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Ensure the delivery of high-quality care based on individual patient needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities through comprehensive assessments.
Develop personalized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
Implement therapy techniques and interventions to improve patient skills.
Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure cohesive patient care.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home practice strategies.
Qualifications: Hold a valid state license and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Demonstrate experience in pediatric and adult speech and language disorders.
Possess strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and industry standards.
