Speech Language Pathologist
Seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized communication disorder assessments and treatments. The role involves delivering patient-centered therapy to promote optimal communication and swallowing functions.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and cognitive skills.
Document patient progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercises.
Qualifications:
Holds a valid state license or credential as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Possesses relevant clinical experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
Demonstrates strong assessment and therapeutic skills in communication disorders.
Exhibits excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Able to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to patient needs.
