Rehab AideLocation: Lake St. Louis, MOType of Employment: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30P Compensation: $18/Hour- Increases based on experience.Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.Why Join Us: (benefits for full-time at 32+ hours/week)Start Strong: Our mentorship and orientation programs ensure a successful transitionRecharge & Refresh: Generous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balanceYour Health Matters: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, and dental plan offeringsInvest in Your Future: Company-matching 401(k) retirement plans as well as life and disability protectionResponsibilitiesRehab Aide performs patient-related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to: Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department.Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities as appropriate and provides equipment.Assist with patient-related activities, including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act.Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDCurrent State Driver's License in good standing requiredClass E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.Preferred QualificationsCPR certificationFirst aid certificationPrior experience in an outpatient physical therapy centerEqual Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
