Job description
Occupational Therapist
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehab setting. Treat 7-10 patients per day, addressing a wide variety of diagnoses including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. Pediatric experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is required. Work collaboratively with a lead therapist who also treats patients. Support from one rehab aide is available for cleaning and assisting with patient care. Schedule includes working five days a week, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Dress code is business casual. Orientation will include department-specific training and mentorship as needed before starting patient care. The workplace adheres to a drug-free policy and requires a negative drug screen.
